Brick Buddy Sharpener

A pencil sharpener hidden inside a model you build yourself. Snap the bricks together into a lion or a tipper truck, then put a pencil in the back of it — the shavings collect in the body. It is the only gift in the box that a child builds, plays with, and then actually uses at a desk.

Six shapes in rotation — lion, elephant, giraffe, bird, sheep and bull. Chunky, big-eyed and the easier of the two to build.

Three shapes in rotation — truck, aircraft and boat. More pieces, a bit more of a build.
Tell us which series you want and we will pack from it. Which shape each child gets is the surprise, so a table ends up with a whole set rather than ten of the same.

There is a blade in it.

Sourced from a verified maker. Two reasons this one is for ages 6 and up rather than younger. It is a real pencil sharpener, so there is a steel blade seated inside the body — fine for a child who already uses a sharpener at school, not for one who does not. And the bricks are small, which is what makes the models look right and also makes them a choking risk for toddlers. Build it with an adult the first time, then it lives in a pencil case.
