Knitted, not printed — the pattern is worked into the fabric, so it will not peel or crack. The body is soft and stretchy, which means it moulds around whatever is inside instead of sitting square, and the handle folds over and tucks through itself in a knot. It weighs almost nothing and folds flat into a pocket.
Every other favour bag has its design printed on the surface, which is why they crack and peel. On this one the pattern is made of the yarn itself — it is the same on the inside as the outside.
Two colours of yarn worked together so the pattern runs right through the fabric. Turn it inside out and the design is still there, in reverse. Nothing to flake off in the wash.
Knit gives. Odd-shaped gifts that would not sit flat in a stiff bag just settle into this one, and the knot handle pulls the top closed over them.
It rolls into a pocket, which is exactly why it survives the car journey home and then lives in a school bag for the rest of the term.
Flower and Animal. Within each one the designs rotate with what the mill has run — we pack from the family you choose, and a party table ends up with a mix of colours rather than a row of identical bags.

Sourced from a verified maker. Knit stretches, so this is a bag to carry rather than a toy to pull at — hard yanking will open up the stitches. Every design is the mill’s own artwork: no licensed characters, no brands. Hand wash cold and dry flat; a knit bag hung wet on a hook will stretch out of shape. Some designs come with a small soft flower charm on the handle, which is not for under-3s.
